- I write fantasy, science fiction, romance, and historical fiction in lengths from flash fiction to novel length. My historical novel Like Mayflies in a Stream, set in ancient Mesopotamia in the time of the warrior-king Gilgamesh, is a reworking of the events in the "Epic of Gilgamesh" from a woman's point of view.
